Water Street Boat Ramp, Burraneer Bay, NSW – Sutherland Shire Boat Ramps

Burraneer Bay is located 26km south of the Sydney CBD and forms part of the Port Hacking waterway in the Sutherland Shire. It is a quick boat trip from Burraneer Bay Boat ramp to Bundeena,The Royal National Park, Mainbar, Jibbon, Gunnamatta Bay and the pristine waterways of the Port Hacking River.

Burraneer Bay Boat Ramp is a single lane concrete boat ramp located at the end of Water Street, Caringbah. There is limited street parking available in this residential street and it can be quite shallow at low tide. There are no amenities.

Burraneer Bay Boat Ramp is a 2 minute boat trip away from Burraneer Bay Marina. Burraneer Bay Marina has a shop for snacks, ice creams, soft drink, fishing bait and ice, fuel, toilet amenities and a slipway for boat maintenance.

Water Street (as it is known by the locals) is an easy boat ramp to use. There is a small shallow tidal area to the south of the boat ramp for someone to hold your boat while you park your car and there is plenty of room to maneuver your boat away from the boat ramp.

Gunnamatta Bay Boat Ramp – Tonkin Road, Cronulla – Sutherland Shire Boat Ramps

Gunnamatta Boat Ramp is located at the end of Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla. Entrance to the boat ramp is via Tonkin Road, behind Cronulla Train Station.

For a smaller boat ramp there is plenty of off street parking, a cafe, a reserve and a great sports oval the kids can play in while setting up and packing up your boat and trailer.

The boat ramp is a single lane boat ramp made of concrete construction. There is limited space to pick up passengers at the boat ramp but they are easily collected from the neighbouring ferry boat wharf and Cronulla Marina.

This boat ramp provides immediate access onto Gunnamatta Bay and a quick boat ride to Mainbar, Bundeena and Jibbon Beach in the Royal National Park.

Located near the Ferry terminal and Cronulla Marina, you are assured of picking up last minute supplies, fuel and bait for your day on the water.
