Did you know that Bold Trailers are accredited to fit ESC. Now what is ESC? ESC is Electronic Stability Control and it’s retro fit to caravans. What it does is it allows the caravan to stabilize itself if you go through a wind tunnel. Wind tunnel is created when trucks go past you at a fast pace
You might have witnessed this before, when the caravan starts to sway side to side. What the Electronic Stability Control does is it starts to apply the brakes on each side depending on how much swing there is and brings the caravan back into alignment.
If you like to know more about ESC or you would like to have ESC fitted to your caravan, come down to Bold Trailers because we can definitely do that for you and we definitely recommend it on our caravans.

A breakdown, it happens and sometimes without warning whether your car is old or new; but a danger to you or your passenger’s safety can be avoided by being prepared and following these simple steps.
When you first run into a bit of trouble, the first thing you need to do is find a safe place to pull over, put on your hazard lights and pull over as far to the left as possible. If you are in poor lighting make sure to put on your parking lights as a further safety measure.
Next give your roadside assistance provider a call; in some areas emergency phones are available on the side of the road.
If you need to leave your vehicle, make sure to do so in a safe manner. Check for traffic and if possible, leave from the passenger side of your vehicle. If it is not safe to leave, sit tight and keep your seatbelt on.
If you do have a breakdown, the most important thing is to remember to stay calm. Roadside assistance can take some time especially if you are in a remote area.
It is always a good idea to have a plan with emergency supplies. A flashlight, first aid kit and bottles of water don’t take up much room but can make a huge difference.
If you see a breakdown, slow down and take care. Avoid crossing busy roads if you are trying to help someone.
